Letter from Mr Macaulay

Dear Parent / Carer,

I am writing to you inform you that, sadly, Mrs Bracchi will be leaving us in the next few weeks. At the end of the summer, she was successful in her application for an Early Years Development Lead role within Middlesbrough Local Authority. Due to the summer holidays, our recruitment to replace Mrs Bracchi was delayed but I am delighted to say that we have appointed an experienced Early Years teacher, Mrs Manton, to take over as Nursery teacher for the remainder of this academic year. Mrs Rehbohm will continue to act as EYFS leader and will continue to spend time in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.

Mrs Bracchi has been a fantastic member of staff over the past seven years and she will be sorely missed by all the staff, children and, I have no doubt, the many parents she has worked with. This is an exciting opportunity for her and I am sure she will use her expertise to benefit the youngest children throughout the town.

In other matters, this week has seen more exciting things going on in school. We have been loaned some samples of Moon rock and asteroids and this has thoroughly engaged the children in a number of classes.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Yours sincerely,

Mr M. Macaulay
